Happy Holidays from the Pottery Studio!

Although TAH is officially closed for classes for Dec 21 - Jan 4, our Open Studio Monitors have volunteered to have the Pottery Studio open ALOT for those without family or plans… Or those with too much family that need a little escape time!  Some of those days have long hours, but you’ll only have to use 1 credit a day.  Here’s what the schedule looks like:

Dec 27: 9-1 (Jillian)

Dec 28: 1-4 (Larissa)

Dec 29: 9-1 (Jillian)

Dec 31: 1-4 (Pat)

Jan 1: 9-1 (Fran) & 1-4 (Larissa)

Jan 2: 10-1 (Ingrid)

Jan 3: 10-1 (Kim) & 1-6  (Addy) & 6-9 (a possibility)

Open Studio is a time to practice your skills that you are working on in a class you are attending OR to work independently on your own projects. We have 6 wheels, a Slab Roller, pottery tools, and more. You can use our tools and equipment to create during the Open Studio time. We also sell clay at $50 for 10kg which includes the use of our many colored glaze options and the kiln firing.

There is no formal instruction, so you should have at least one class (that included glazing) under your belt before attending a session. Youths 14 and older who have attended a class at The Arts House may attend these sessions.

$25 - Cost of a single session which can be pre-paid through this link or as a walk-in (cash, cheque, or e-transfer).
