    Always dreamed about taking a ball of clay and transforming it into a pot? Get your feet wet, or should we say your hands dirty, in the art of pottery. Whether you're new to clay or not, this class will leave you brimming with the possibilities of clay!

    This 5-week course introduces you to throwing on the potter's wheel, trimming, and glazing! Open to all skill levels.

  • Landscape Mug - Jan 17th

    Let Sherry walk you through the steps of handbuilding a mug and, then, creating a landscape scene of your choice on that mug. You will be shown how to create the mug’s landscape through the use of slips or underglaze, as well as carving tools.

    Once your mug dries and is kiln-fired (to become bisqueware), Sherry will glaze it for you. You’ll be notified when the mug is kiln-fired the second time and ready for use.

    Suitable for adults of all skills levels. All materials and firings are included in the price.

  • Meet the Wheel - Jan 24th 6-8pm

    Always wanted to try the wheel, but not wanted to commit to a multi week course?  Come in and get muddy!
    This 2-hour workshop may be for you… take a spin on the wheel and see how you like it.

    The workshop is led by an instructor who will help center the clay and teach you tips & tricks. Make a bowl, tumbler or vase. Everyone has the opportunity to throw multiple pieces and you can select a piece to have fully finished by our team.

  • Toaster Coaster - Jan 31st 6-9pm

    Make someone smile with this toaster that holds 2 coasters shaped like toast to protect your table tops. Larissa will lead you through hand-building, them from a slab of clay on Jan 31. This workshop is over 2 sessions.

    You’ll give it time to dry and be fired the first time before returning on Feb. 28 to glaze it before it’s fired for the second time.

    Create a paint palette that’s just perfect for you!

    Ceramic paint palettes work wonderfully with watercolour, oil, or acrylic. This beginner hand-building class will introduce you to the basic skills needed create beautiful work out of a slab of clay.

    Try something new - together!  After you enjoy supper together, come in and get muddy! This 2-hour workshop will allow you both to take a spin on the pottery wheel and see if you like it. ….and have fun with your partner.

    No more “double dipping”! Learn the basic skills involved in hand-building with this individual chip & dip bowl. You’ll create it in one session.

    Once it’s properly dried and fired for the first time, our pottery staff will clear glaze it for you and let you know when it is ready for pick-up.
