Some of you know Andy from the Thursday morning “Open Studio Live Drawing” sessions at The Arts House, Andy also has taught fun “Adult Paint and Sip” events, and "Plain Air” day trips. She is truly a woman of many talents and accomplishments.
Andrea (Andy) is an artist living in Antigonish, NS, Canada. The bulk of her work consists of graphite drawings, acrylic paintings, and pieces that combine 3D elements with a 2D image.
Although she doesn't hold a formal Fine Arts degree she hesitates to call herself a 'self-taught' artist as she has learned so much from books, videos, and workshops given by other artists.
Her common goal in most of her work is to produce something that will make the viewer smile.
Andy Accepts commissions for pencil drawings and acrylic paintings. Other work she can do, she also creates life-size custom photo stand-ins for clients. She has commissioned work in private and corporate collections across Canada and abroad.
