Open Pottery Studio

Open Studio is a time to practice skills you are working on in a class you are attending or to work independently on your own projects.

There is no formal instruction, so you should have at least one class (that included glazing) under your belt before attending a session. Youth 14 and older who have attended a class at The Arts House may attend these sessions.

$25 - Cost of a single session which can be pre-paid through this link or as a walk-in (cash, cheque, or e-transfer).

$10 - Cost of 'First Time Orientation'. If you are new to Open Pottery Studio and haven't attended a pottery class at The Arts House, you will be required to take a first-time orientation. Be sure to choose this option upon registration if required.

$200 - Punch Card Pass. The 10-session punch card offers a slight discount and allows you to attend any open studio that fits your schedule. Cards are good for all of 2024.

Wheels and hand-building equipment are available during open studio. Clay can be purchased for use in an open studio.

Another option to use our Open Studio's, if you have no experience at all with pottery and have not found a class that works for you, contact Fran at the address below and ask about a 2-session introductory hand-building class.

If you are on Facebook, check out the TAH Potters group. See what other potters are up to at The Arts House, and check for weather cancellations of Open Studio.
